1. Communicate with your NDW student team on a regular basis regarding progress; become members of their wikis and monitor their edits and discussions.
2. Communicate with AEA consultants on a regular basis regarding students progress, questions, and concerns.
3. Provide feedback to students on writing tasks.
4. Provide adequate time and resources for students to work on their project.
5. Learn along with your students; be an equal partner in learning.
6. Communicate with the other teachers to ensure team collaboration and continued progress.
7. Provide feedback and guidance on a regular basis with the research process and citing sources.
8. Ensure that all NDW team members (students and teachers) are prepared for checkpoints and webinars.
9. Encourage students to view and act upon ongoing feedback and suggestions from AEA consultants.
Editorial Submissions:
Each student will be required to write an editorial to their local newspaper. Please include the information for your town's newspaper on this Google Doc.
The National Day on Writing in AEA 267 is broken into manageable pieces or phases.
